A Week in Review 9/19/16-9/23/16

Hey there, Fisher Baker families!

Sorry about the silence last week. With Ms. Fisher out for a couple of days, we were lucky enough to have Mrs. Pagel join us this week. Unfortunately, many of our students needed to be reminded of the importance of showing any adult respect. Luckily, we will have the chance to make things right with Mrs. Pagel in a couple of weeks when she returns to sub for Ms. Baker.

This Week in Academics:
  • We discussed themes from The Witches.
  • We continued to practice rounding on the number line.
  • Some of us learned about and practiced tricky subtraction with lots of borrowing.
  • Some of us learned about and practiced exponential form.
  • We answered the question: How can mixtures be separated? on Science Friday.

Looking Ahead:
  • This past week we did not send home the Traveling Folder. Expect to see it this Monday.
  • Start collecting pledges for the Mustang Gallop! The Day of the Gallop is Friday, October 7th.
  • Be on the look out for parent teacher conference sign up information next week!

Enjoy your weekend together!
Ms. Baker and Ms. Fisher
