Hey there! We’ve had another collaborative and productive
week in the Fisher Baker classroom.
This Week
in Academics:
· We analyzed data
organized on line plots.
· We practiced reading and
plotting coordinates using latitude and longitude lines.
· We learned about the
three steps of earth processes (weathering, erosion, and deposition) through an
expert’s article.
· We learned about the
plant, animal, and climate diversity of Arizona’s three regions (plateau,
mountain, desert).
· We practiced identifying
different types of maps and their features.
· We continued reading
about Brian’s high and low moments while surviving the Canadian wilderness in Hatchet.
Looking Ahead:
· Parent Teacher (and
student) conferences will be on Thursday 10/5, Friday 10/6, Monday 10/9, and
Tuesday 10/10. Sign up for your child’s slot using the links on the blog post below.
· September Birthday
Friday is next week!
· Start collecting those
pledges for the Mustang Gallop jog-a-thon (10/6!)
Enjoy your first fall
weekend!
